We had a lovely two-day stay, enjoying the excellent breakfasts and the decor throughout, while the hotel’s proximity to Bridlington Sea Front and the charming Bridlington Old Town made our city strolls truly memorable.

The Royal in Bridlington offered a delightful stay overall. The room, a Double Room with Four Poster Bed, felt cozy and well presented. I loved the quirky decor and comfy beds that made it feel like home. Hot showers every morning were a great perk too. I did notice some areas that could use improvement. The shower pressure fluctuated, which made it a bit annoying. the bathroom could have a towel rail for added convenience. Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any inquiries. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of options that really stood out. Just a tip, check breakfast timings ahead of time to avoid missing out. Having a DVD player in the room was a nice touch for relaxing evenings, but perhaps adding a few more seating areas in common spaces would enhance the experience.

our stay was super chill, loved how relaxed it all was. the bed was comfy and the room was a good size. we had a dvd player which was nice for some chill out time. the staff, especially fiona, were friendly and helpful. oh and the breakfast was tasty, full english was spot on.
but the shower in our room was kinda horrible, water pressure was weak and temp kept changing, which was annoying. also, the bathroom could have used a towel rail.

The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay. The bed was really cozy, which was a bonus given the long day we had. I loved that there was a TV and a DVD player, made for a nice chill night in. A bit small, but it didn’t bother me too much for just one night. Plus, the location was spot on—easy access to everything!

Perfect spot for a boys' trip
The rooms were super clean and comfy, and the breakfast spread was ace. They had everything from a buffet to a full English, just what we needed before hitting the golf courses. Only thing, the Wi-Fi was kinda weak at times.

missingWrote a review on 16 Julcomfortable bedsquirky decorhigh-quality breakfastexcessive information
Comfortable beds and quirky decor made for a cozy stay. The high-quality breakfast buffet, featuring fresh fruit, served as a delightful start to each day.
The hotel atmosphere leaned more toward an upmarket B&B than a full-service hotel. The shower lacked proper pressure and temperature consistency, which could be frustrating after a long day out. The information pack felt a bit excessive, with an overwhelming focus on the owners' personal interests rather than guest needs.

Had a great time with friends! We loved how close the place was to Belvedere Golf Club and had fun exploring the nearby attractions. The TV with Freeview and DVD player was a nice touch for relaxing in the evenings. Just a heads up, it's best to check breakfast timings in advance.
Unfortunately, the manager wasn't very welcoming when we arrived. It felt like we were an inconvenience, which really put a damper on the experience.
